I am just starting out in the blogoshpere and it is beyond amazing to know that someone, besides my family, actually visits my blog and has deemed it good enough to win an award! So, I've thanked Elizabeth ... profusely! ... now 7 things about ME :)
1. I watch heroic amounts of television ... like I'm telling you I watch some freaking TV. I love it ... it's always on, even if I'm not paying any attention to it at all ... in fact as I post this The Real Housewives of Orange County (the best housewives by far) are bitching in the background :) I'll admit it ... I'm an addict.
2. I love to take pictures. I'm that friend that always makes everyone else roll their eyes at functions when we're all together, because I whip the camera out ... I can't help it. Pictures make me happy ... "These are memories frozen in time, people!" :)
3. I'm a caffeine addict. I justify my three cups of coffee a day by saying that there are so many other things I could be addicted to ... you know this is true ... even if it's just covering up my sickness
4. I'm a certified English teacher and I'm telling you if someone would take a chance on me, I wouldn't let them down. I was born to teach high school English and damn I'm good at it ... trust me ... if you ever meet me I'll back this up with proof.
5. I put my fur babies ahead of myself. My Horse and My Puppy are everything and if I was poor I would feed them before feeding myself (we'll not talk about the fact that this has come close to happening before)
6. I'm a redhead and I let people speculate what that means about my attitude and my temper ... because those things are generally true :) I'm sassy, feisty, with a wild temper, and I always stick up for myself ... but I'm also loyal and compassionate and I can be sweet ... on occasion.
7. True Life: I'm a nail polish hoarder :) I love nail polish colors and any time I see a pretty one, I must buy it :) and I change my nail polish every week ... just so I can get every color in there :) don't tell TLC ... they'll come after me.
That's ME! and I'm so thankful to Elizabeth for noticing :)

ok ... so this Tuesday's assignment was Your Pet's Favorite Toy!
I had to think and think about this one because my baby has a stick fetish (which is kind of a toy?) and he loves his blankie ... he can't sleep without it (not a toy right?) but he does have a new gumby chewy toy, but we have no pictures with that ... so ... this is what I settled on
His favorite toy is his best friend Bailey Sue :) Bailey is my parent's chocolate lab and we've had her for almost four years :) she was our first house dog ... then when I graduated I got Mr. Dalton my golden lab and of course he's a house baby too. They are best friends and forever playmates. It started with Dalton trying to walk her when he was a baby and has morphed into them being inseparable :)
Patience may be a virtue, but damn isn't it the hardest virtue to have?!
I'm impatient and like things to happen on my schedule, the way I want them to happen ... is this an attractive side to me? No, not really, but I'm being honest here.
I found this in the blogoshpere today and it made me stop and think
If I have faith that God is going to take care of me, then I must wait and let him do it on his own time schedule. I hear ya God ... loud and clear ... I'm taking a breath, praying for patience, and relying on you.

WOO FRIDAY!!! So, I might be a link post addict now ... but I don't care I love it! and it helps kick start my mind when I'm not sure what to write about! So, for today's link post I'm visiting the lovely A Girl in Pearls & A Boy with Toys and joining the FUN for ... FUN FRIDAYS!
I know it's lame, but I'm beyond excited that I get two mornings this weekend with pure sleeping in bliss. This rarely ever happens and a lot you probably don't know yet, but I value my sleep and adore days where I can sleep till I feel like getting out of bed ... mmm it's going to be glorious
If I get some good old fashion snuggling in (which I'm willing to be t at least 5 dollars will happen ... if I can convince the boy which I think I can) then my weekend will be complete
In other news ... tonight ... I'm sucking one of my bests into the Twilight obsession with me! I refused to like the books when I started reading them because I don't like to drift with the crowd, but after the first book I was a gonner ... sigh ... oh well I'll admit it I love me some Twilight. And I'm proud to say I sucked another person into the obsession :) and tonight we are having a New Moon and Eclipse marathon complete with food and drinks ... doesn't get much better than a Friday night in PJ's with a best some food some drinks and a couple obsessiontastic movies :)

So ... for the very first Tail Wagging Tuesday the challenge is to put up your MOST FAVORITE PICTURE of your fur child ... just one ... that will be a toughy!
I simply adore this picture! There are so many baby pictures of Dalton that I couldn't just choose one, so I had to go with this picture. This is probably a couple months after we got him, so of course he had to go everywhere with us ... even dirty horse shows. He loved the horses and he loved running around all day, but at some point puppies gotta sleep, right? Here, he is sleeping through people cheering and announcers yelling and he still sleeps like a rock today. I love him :)
